Help send Lillybelle Ivy Herrera to college!

On Wednesday, April 22nd at 7:15 am, Predator Motorsports lost a dear friend and valued colleague in a tragic motorcycle accident. Roy E. Herrera worked for Predator for just a few months but his loyalty, his passion for his work, and his devotion to his trade, truly mirrored what Predator Motorsports embodies. Roy is survived by his wife, Erika Brower Herrera and his 17 month-old daughter, Lillybelle. In honor of Roy, and to match his dedication to success, Predator Motorsports will start a scholarship to help Lillybelle obtain a college degree and continue to make her Father proud. Predator Motorsports will sponsor a California’s 529 College Saving Plan for Lillybelle. We will also be accepting donations to help provide a safe and bright future for her.

Adventure Time

Hummer on-top of a hill

Check out our friend Charles and his adventures in his 1985 USMC HMMWV.

Charles put his HMMWV through the wire and definitely has gotten “bang for his buck”. After finding his chariot on Ebay, the allure of owning a true American iconic vehicle was the driving force to purchase her sight unseen. He started their relationship by driving her daily for 10 years! Truly becoming intimate with the inner workings of his HMMWV, he has probably turned every bolt on her at least twice!

Charles, accompanied with friends, answers the call for offroad adventure several times per year. They head to Rausch Creek Offroad Park in Tremont, PA at least 2-3 times a year. In May of 2011, they were exploring a new part of the park that had a bunch of man-made obstacles used for rock crawling event. One in particular caught his eye because a bunch of modified Toyota pickup’s were maneuvering around it. He decided to toss in a little “Good ole American Muscle” and conquered the hill! The Shear drop off on either side, and the lack of visibility of the obstacles in front and to the rear of his HMMWV, It definitely made the adventure more “interesting”. In Fact his 4 tires barely fit!!! Check out a few pictures below from his latest adventure.

Duramax H2 with a custom 2 tone paint job

Check out this Duramax H2 with a custom 2 tone paint job. It was actually one of the first flat paint jobs seen on a show truck and was debuted at the 2005 SEMA show. The base color is flat black with a flat clear with all the lower trim panels smoothed and painted gloss black. The custom forged billet aluminum 24″ rims are insane and came in about 45 minutes prior to the truck being loaded for SEMA. Talk about cutting it close! The H2 was converted to a Duramax Diesel engine with the Alison 5 speed transmission for the ultimate in performance, fuel economy, longevity and drive ability.
