Predator Inc. announced today the release of their Hummer H1, HMMWV, GMV, GMVS Big Brake System. The system is designed as a final solution for the under performing brake systems used in the defense industries Up-Armored HMMWV’s commonly used in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Predator HMMWV Brake System has proven to stop a 14,500lb Up-Armored HMMWV or GMV in approximately 92 feet from 60 mph to 0 mph on hard packed dirt. This is an incredable feat considering the last model year Hummer, a 2006 Alpha H1, with its upgraded brake system and weighing apx. 7,900lbs, stops in 152 feet on asphalt.

Additionally, the braking system showed no signs of heat transfer through the calipers because of a unique 3-Piece piston design which reduces heat transfer.

The kit includes 4 massive 6-Piston Brake Calipers, Massive 2-Piece Rotors, Rear Parking Brakes, Stainless Steel Brake Lines along with the mounting hardware.
